I have two holograph american mint $ 10 coins. One is an 2001 american eagle and the other is a 2000 liberty. They are both made in Germany and are American Mint. Thats all I know about them. I inherited them from my mother. Just curious about their worth. I can’t find anything about the holographic ones.

I have Mercury and FDR dimes, Washington quarters, and Kennedy half-dollars.

Answer by Nick VCurrently at $ 11.83 per ounce, the silver in those coins is worth more than the face value.
If they are in exceptionally good shape, they may be worth even more numistmatically. You’d have to check. Ebay is a good place to find out what you might get for them.

Yes, you WILL pay a lot above spot price. (up to 50%)
But in total, it’s still a lot less than it was last year until summer. ($ 16-20)
Today, if you can get silver eagles for under $ 14.00, that’s pretty good.

They’re made out of the same material aren’t they? (I mean quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies, not toonies or loonies) But they always seem to be shinier, even if they’re the same year..
