Question by the_icon14: How much is this coin worth?
I don’t know much about coins and I’ll do my best to describe it to you.
It’s a 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar. It’s cased and it says PCGS on the very top and below it it says MS64.
Then below that there is a number which is 7166.64/4408753
Right below that number is the barcode. Is 7166 the value or something?
The coin has some markings. The color still looks pretty good.

Question by payroll_wife: Is it worthwhile to crackout coins from old green PCGS Holders and resubmit?
Seems like there is a lot of money to be made with the right approach. Anyone have luck?
Best answer:
Answer by TaipingIt depends on just how good you are at grading. Now, one always hears of some one breaking open a slab and having it graded a grade higher. However you don’t hear of the ones that are graded lower or the same, so one paid twice for the same grade and lost money if lower.Talking to . . . → Read More: Is it worthwhile to crackout coins from old green PCGS Holders and resubmit?
