i see gold clad coins for sale all the time and want to know if they have any real value. and if so, how can you tell how much they are worth?

I read that it was quite valuable but am not completely sure. Considering it was made in 2002,I think it’s value is probably nothing but who knows?

Answer by Andrew HIt is certainly worth more than nothing. The gold content decides that. Is it a Norwegian or Danish coin? Both use Kroner (crowns).
Just to show you an example, a 2001 20-kroner coin from Norway is valued at $ 261.27 (see source).

Question by c.j.: I found an 1880 gold coin, does anyone have ideas for value?
The 1880 coin on the front has a picture of Lady Liberty with 1880. On the back it has and eagle with a shield holding arrows and an olive branch. It says “In god we trust”, “United States of America”, and “Ten D.”

Question by GentleYetAlone: What is the value of a 1924 Calvin Coolidge gold coin?
What makes this one different is that it doesn’t have the words “President of the United States” on it but rather just his name and a profile of him looking to the right. The backside has an eagle with wings spread, the year 1924, and the words “United States Mint Philadelphia” on the perimeter. This is a very tiny gold coin with Indian head surrounded by stars on the front and dated 1855. The back side says ‘California gold with a star in the center and surrounded around the outside with laurels. It appears to be octagonal, but with no dollar value printed on the coin. Thank you.
