Which is your favourite currently circulating British coin?

My favourite coin is definitely the fifty pence piece with its original design. I like the uniqueness of the seven-sided shape, and I enjoy the tradition of the age-old image of Britannia which decorates the reverse side.

At the moment I do not have favourite of the complete new set of reverse designs, but this is probably because of the fact that it is shared across all the coins.

Danish kroner into British pound coins?

Hi. what is 1 dkk into pound coins. I looked at a converter earlier. It said that 279,95 Danish kroner = 31,8667864 British pounds. This may seem stupid but does that mean £31,866,786,4 or £34.87. I’m confused by the comma.

I am a coin collector. I have the following type British coins in my collection -
half penny
penny
schilling
5 pence
farthing
half crown
crown
I am going to be getting more. Can anyone put these denominations in order for me, including any others I might encounter in the future?
Please note, the currency does not have to be in use at the present. I am most interested in pre-Elizabeth II currency.

Because I work in a shop and today on the 28th December 2010 I found a 2011 fifty pence coin in the till, I previously thought they only released next years coins once in the new year. Can someone please help explain?

Unknown silver coin from 1820
One pennies from 1914, 1935 and 1963
Two shillings coin from 1939, 1941
Threepence from 1916
One shilling from 1942 and 1963
Half pennies from 1921 and 1943
