Answer by petanamedDepends on where you are located(country), but generally any established reputable dealer should be pleased to help you identify ancient coins without a fee, however many are specialized in Greek/Ptolemy,Roman,Asian,etc.Museums and Collectors Clubs could also be helpful(Try Yahoo Groups).If it is valuation you need,then you would probably have to pay a fee.

I’ve been doing some research, and I seem to be finding answers like 23mm and stuff like that. I have trouble imagining how a coin a fifth of centimeter in diameter could be practical. So how large are these coins actually?
